A town at the base of the Rocky Mountains' Tenmile Range, Breckenridge is known for its ski resorts, Gold Rush history, and year round alpine activities. This former mining town has preserved its Victorian history as the Breckenridge National Historic District. Known as one of the largest historical districts in Colorado with over 200 structures on the National Register, colorfully painted buildings from the 1880s-1890s run along Main street with galleries, charming boutiques, and a variety of restaurants. From quick burgers and tacos, to local breweries and distilleries, to no fuss fine-dining, Breckenridge's culinary scene is one that should not be missed. And, if you’re not too tired from your day’s adventures, the vibrant night-life offerings can take you well into the midnight hour with bars, dancing and live music. If you just need a chance to relax and unwind, Breckenridge is also home to a variety of spas that will help you reset.

Breckenridge is a winter lover's paradise. In addition to a wide variety of terrain for all ski and snowboard skill levels, other popular winter activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, snowmobiling, dog sledding, sleigh rides, winter fly fishing, and much more. Main street is lined with art galleries, charming boutiques, and a variety of restaurants to please every palate. Don't miss out on trying local craft beer from any of the towns breweries.
