Towering more than a mile above the valley known as Jackson Hole, the Grand Teton rises to 13,770 feet above sea level. Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway offer a variety of activities such as traditional mountain hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, climbing, swimming, boating, floating, canoeing, fishing, and biking. In addition to grand mountain vistas, the Tetons host some of the best wildlife hideouts from birds to bison.

This area has superior wildlife viewing opportunities, especially early or late in the day. Expect to see a variety of waterfowl, moose, deer, elk, bison, and birds of all kinds. There is also unique shopping, excellent dining, and luxurious spa experiences to be had here.

PARK ENTRY FEES: $35 per private vehicle; $30 for a motorcycle; or $20 for each visitor 16 years and older entering by foot, bicycle, ski, etc. These fees provide the visitor with a 7-day entrance permit for Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Cancellations of room reservations received by the hotel inside 30 days of arrival as well as no-shows or early departures will be charged for entire reserved stay plus tax. Objectives

  • Improve knowledge, skills, and strategies in the timely diagnosis and management of patients with complex comorbidities, emergency medical conditions, and less common conditions.
  • Increase knowledge of newer pharmacologic agents, thereby improving competence in medication management via anticipation of potential polypharmacy interactions and improved ability to provide sedation in the emergency department.
  • Increase ability to anticipate, prevent, and manage complications and emergency medical conditions, leading to improved patient outcomes and reduced morbidity and mortality rates.
  • Strengthen and augment ability to apply and interpret diagnostic testing/imaging used in the emergency department.
  • Enhance ability to analyze complex situations from an ethical and legal perspective, protecting both patients and healthcare providers.
  • Refine and strengthen competence in assessing and managing trauma patients, including timely assessment, prioritization of interventions, and coordination of multidisciplinary care.

$100 August 14th, 2025 to September 13th, 2025 . No refund after September 13th, 2025; however, 50% of tuition paid may be applied toward tuition for another NWAS program within the next 12 months. Factors beyond our control sometimes necessitate changes in the schedule and faculty. If time permits, we will inform all registrants of any changes prior to the program. Changes on site due to local conditions will be announced in class.
