Location

Keystone, Colorado

Keystone offers the full Colorado mountain experience without the crowds or pretension. Its three connected peaks offer an incredible variety of terrain—from long, winding groomers to challenging bowls—so skiers and riders of every level can find their perfect run. Night skiing adds a little magic, letting you glide under the lights with the crisp alpine air all around you. And because Keystone is known for being especially family‑friendly, the whole atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and easy to navigate. Snow tubing, sleigh rides, and scenic gondola rides give you plenty of ways to enjoy the mountains even if you’re not skiing.

Even if snow sports aren’t your thing, Keystone offers plenty of ways to enjoy a winter getaway from the warmth and comfort of the indoors. The village is filled with cozy cafés, boutique shops, art galleries, and inviting restaurants where you can linger over a great meal while watching the snowfall outside. You can unwind at the Keystone Spa & Salon with massages, facials, and quiet relaxation rooms, or explore nearby towns like Dillon, Frisco, and Silverthorne for breweries, galleries, and the Dillon Ice Castles. Scenic gondola rides provide stunning mountain views from a warm cabin, and après‑ski culture—live music, hot drinks, fire pits, game nights, wine tastings, and cooking classes—is just as enjoyable even if you never touch the slopes. It’s the kind of place where simply being there feels restorative, especially if your idea of adventure leans more toward comfort than cold.
