Hollywood, Florida sits on seven miles of Atlantic beachfront between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, anchored by the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk — a 2.5-mile brick promenade lined with oceanfront cafés, ice cream stands, and rental shops, closed to cars and open to walkers, cyclists, and skaters from sunrise to well after dark. The beach itself is wide, clean, and consistently ranked among Florida's best, with calm water and lifeguards along most of its length. Inland, downtown Hollywood's ArtsPark at Young Circle hosts free concerts and a weekly food truck night, while the surrounding blocks offer a walkable mix of restaurants, galleries, and bars. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is ten minutes away, Miami and the Everglades within an hour, and Port Everglades close enough to make a pre- or post-conference cruise easy to add.

Physician Maintenance of Certification (MOC): Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 20 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM), American Board of Pathology (ABPath), American Board of Pediatrics (ABP – only when applicable to individual program), American Board of Surgery (ABS), and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) programs. Program Purpose

This continuing education program is designed for healthcare professionals working in critical care settings. The program aims to provide attendees with the latest updates and advancements in critical care, enhancing their clinical skills and knowledge to optimize patient outcomes. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and discussion with faculty/peers, attendees will learn about the latest evidence-based guidelines and best practices for managing critically ill patients.

• Bolster knowledge, competence, and utilization of the most recent evidence-based critical care clinical practice guidelines.
• Expand competence in the management of patients with complex comorbidities and less common medical conditions, thereby improving patient outcomes and safety.
• Improve skills/strategies in managing mechanical ventilation for patients with complex respiratory conditions.
• Increase knowledge and competence in effectively interpreting and applying hemodynamic monitoring data to guide patient care.
• Enhance ability to analyze complex situations from an ethical and legal perspective, protecting both patients and healthcare providers.
• Refine and strengthen physician competence in the prevention and management of common complications in critically ill patients.
• Strengthen and augment ability to apply and interpret diagnostic testing/imaging used in critical care.
• Augment recognition and coping strategies to mitigate the effects of workplace stressors and burnout and achieve well-being in the clinical setting.
